Burn me up and mix me with salt...

i grew up listening to Pink Floyd, Supertramp and the Who. someone once said that was probably the reason i'm like i am. i'm not sure what he meant by that. i like to think i'm a pretty down to earth person, but it's never too hard to catch me daydreaming. i'm twenty one years old, and at times i feel like my life is passing too quickly; like this is not what i expected to be like at this milestone in my life. i'm still looking forwards to the near future though. it's the distant one that scares me.

i can laugh at things that would be funny to a 10 year old, but i like intellectual comedy too. i like my fanfiction, manga, anime. i come from sunny cornwall; where the sun shines for all of five days a year and they call it a tourist resort. i wouldn't like to leave it forever though. i love the history and the myth. i love being able to say that my family have lived here for generations. i love the fact that a pasty made anywhere other than cornwall cannot be called a pasty.

i love music, and art, design, writing; generally any form of artistic expression. i like a lot of different music, but some can make me angry. i like listening to bands and artists that i think aren't well known. it's like i have my own little secret, even if they are well known and i'm just blind. they say ignorance is bliss, and a lot of the time i'm inclined to agree.

i study for a foundation degree in multimedia design (which is just a pretty way of saying web design), so if you want css layouts, web graphics, or user info profiles (i made this one), leave me a message. =] i'll be happy to do you one.
